The Tree Farm

We carved out some time this week to find some local food.  Not quite ready to venture into the big city for the farmer's market, and sick of having other people cook for us, we needed some fresh local food.  And we found perfection.  Eight miles from our new home, we were able to dig our own carrots, diakons and parsnips, pick eggplants, brussel sprouts and cherry tomatoes (still in October!), and cut our own brocolli, salad mix, and cabbages.
Our kids and bellies were incredibly thankful.
